Who's We Are

DJ Co-Ops is a service oriented company and has been in business since 1989. We organized the first non-JPA Co-Ops in the state of California, combining multiple school districts into cooperatives. Currently we service approximately 1100 districts in California, Ohio and Michigan.

We are best described as a facilitator. Our mission is to accommodate the desires of Food Service Directors within the parameters established by the co-op, the legal requirements of Education Code, State and USDA. We work with each district to assure they receive the commodities offered by USDA. Acting as liaison we coordinate with the co-op, state, processor and distributor to assure accuracy in ordering, processing and shipping.
